Vacancies

We have room for instruments in all the sections, except the flutes, but particularly in these sections:

Clarinet

Baritone Sax

Tuba

Euphonium

To get the most from the band, you need good technical ability coupled with good sight-reading skills. Generally, a rough technical ability of about grade 6 is needed but some sections can accomodate slightly less confident players while some need at least Grade 8. All of us are quick sight readers and practise at home as the bi -weekly rehearsals reduce rehearsal time. We support each other and really are a dynamic, hard-working and sociable band - so we could be the one for you. 

And don't worry, we don't do auditions - we'll just invite you to 3 free rehearsals to find out whether you and the band are mutually compatible.
